The RYDER make-up labs Introduction to Make-up Artistry lecture and demonstration has inspired tens of thousands by giving them the tools they need to begin a career as a freelance make-up artist or hair stylist for print, video, and film.

Participants examine lace front wigs, ventilated beards and mustaches, and other memorabilia from some of Mr. Ryder’s film projects. See James demonstrate some of his tricks of the trade for created three dimensional illusions using highlights and shadows. Then watch as he performs amazing time drills by applying a full eye make-up using four colors in less than 15 seconds. Students receive information on the latest technology and are given useful information on safety and sanitation.

RYDER make-up labs congradulates Carol Wagener for her editorial feature in the August 2008 issue of GLAMOUR featuring olympic diver Laura Wilkenson photographed by Christopher Griffith. We met Carol at a lecture at The Academy at Austin, a Paul Mitchell partner school in 2006.
